//hope

Dear Mr. Pamplona;

Thank you for being a World Vision Child Sponsor! I am so glad to be able to introduce you to your sponsored child Marie Chris VILLORENTE who comes from Ebenezer II Project in Cavite.

With your help, your sponsored child, Marie Chris will get a chance for a better future and will benefit from the health programs, educational support, livelihood and other community development opportunities provided by World Vision. Over many years of experience World Vision has learnt that the best way of helping a needy child is by working with the parents and the community.

Through your regular sponsorship contributions you are helping your sponsored child to break free from the chains of poverty that binds them. And over time you will see for your self how you are helping to make difference. You can even visit your child if you wish.

Kindly take time to read the Sponsorship Handbook that was sent to you along with the Child's Picture Folder.

Again, Thank you and may our Lord bless you in all your endeavors.

Sincerely Yours,

Elnora B. Avarientos
Executive Director

//pagbabago

in a few days, i'm saying goodbye to the 20s.

i used to think that once you've gone past your mid 20s, you'll start going over the hump and you get become too old to try new things and let go of old habits.

but still one can never stop trying. so as i bid goodbye to the dynamic, sometimes overly eager 20s, i will be letting go of a number of stuff, and start taking in new things.

on the way out:
1. xbox late nights
2. scuba diving (well, at least not as often as i used to)
3. smoking
4. badminton

coming soon:
1. golf
2. clean living
3. saxophone
4. volunteer work

i realize: i'm never too old to change.
